Hard to imagine that it's been 10 weeks since we started this experiment. We started doing some remedial review with them this last week as a result of some difficulty they were having with the reading we were doing. So far, it's been going quite well. We continue to have difficulty with keeping my son on task but he is improving.

We also sent off the letter this week to the school notifying them that we intend to home school and that the kids won't be returning. I can't describe how much of a relief it is not having to get the kids up at five in the morning to send them off to school. There is freedom in that.
